2021 KIA SORENTO

2021 KIA SORENTO

The 2021 Kia Sorento has been redesigned from the wheels up and features a bold new design, a ton of features and equipment, and impressive performance from its revamped engine lineup. The 2021 Sorento starts at $35,960. It is offered in six versions, with the top-of-the-line SX model going for just $49,460.

The new 2021 Kia Sorento gets a completely redesigned exterior and interior that includes a bold design highlighted by the Tiger Face grille. Sharper, the 2021 Kia Sorento is immediately noticeable on the road with its split-vertical LED taillights and standard LED headlights.

Inside, the 2021 Sorento gets more refined materials including available open-pore wood and a bold look for the dashboard that is inspired by the luxurious Kia Telluride. The highlight of this dash is the incredibly breathtaking 12.3-inch full digital cluster. There are also 8 USB ports inside and an available 10.25-inch centre touchscreen. UVO technology is also standard. Moreover, there’s more interior space including an additional 93 mm of second-row legroom, which makes the Sorento one of the most spacious mid-size three-row SUVs.

Under its sculpted hood, the 2021 Sorento has even more to offer. Base models will get a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic. Averaging just 9.7 litres per 100 kilometres, this transmission makes the Sorento 4.9% more efficient than the previous model.

Next in the lineup is an impressive 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers an impressive 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. More impressive than that is the model’s impressive 8-speed dual-clutch automatic, which is segment-exclusive. Even better is that this Sorento, despite having nearly 300 horsepower, averages just 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres. That’s a 10.8% improvement over the previous generation.
